  In Major baseball,  the Yankees rolled past the Dodgers 14-5  and in the night cap the Twins knocked off the league leader Cardinals by a score 10-6. In Minor Baseball, the Indians shutout the Padres 11-0 and the Mets took care of the Marlins 11-6.  In Minor Softball, the Warriors edged the Scorpions 15-14 and the Cyclone swept the Dynamites by of scores of 8-5 and 9-5.   In Rookie Baseball, the Phillies stopped the Royals to win 6-2.
